We’re very happy to have LA garage-rock outfit Allah-Las playing at The Harley in support of their forthcoming second record.
Allah Las began gigging in Los Angeles in 2008, refining their live performance, and finally released their first 7” single Catamaran / Long Journey in 2011. In September 2012, Allah-Las released their self-titled debut LP. The album has been described as a “lost treasure dug up from the sand and polished to a perfectly faded sheen” and “a classic debut record, on the one hand immersed in melancholic nostalgia but on the other, enthused with a timeless charm”. Their sound combines the harmonies and pop hooks of the British Invasion, the trippy atmosphere of West Coast psychedelic bands, and the raw swagger of countless American garage rockers.
The band will play at The Harley on 2nd October, and tickets are onsale now.
