Tom J Newell is our Pub Scrawl artist. Yesss!

Pete McKee and the rest of the team behind the awesome Pub Scrawl have now announced which local artist will be curating which local venue, and we’re very happy to announce that our entertainment for the evening is coming care of the very talented Tom J Newell.

Tom has put together ‘Flash in the Pan’, a one-off event featuring Tattoo Flash inspired art and live music from Love Boat and Double No No.
Anarchic disco rock & roll, complete with off the wall lyrics and song titles like ‘Another Song About Meat’.

Double No No
Smoky, Desert Sessions-type blues-rock

There will also be a Syd & Mallory pop-up shop where the Sheffield boutique will launch a new range of clothing and accessories, collaboratively designed with Tom J Newell.

Tom will also be drawing live on the night, creating a collaborative piece with Drew Millward. Both artists are members of the art collective, ‘The Dead Sea Mob’.

Affordable artworks will also be for sale with all proceeds going to The Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

The event is supported by The Dead Sea Mob, Dirtyface and Posca, and (as with all the Pub Scrawl venues) there’ll be a special Thornbridge ‘Scrawl’ ale launched on the night.

After the Pub Scrawlin’ is done, it’s over to Bitz n Peaces, who are teaming up with the Offmenut crew to bring you this.
